done
Removing all the canvases from the studio has created echo that wasn't there recently. I'm left with the work I reject, things that are stuck, detritus, and dozens of half-used tubs of paint.
Outside the window, the leaves on the incredible Kentucky Coffee tree...small leaves that are arranged in delicate clusters...are gone for this season.
I see it all today and only now do I realize how I've been feeling this week and last: exhausted.
