the more natural artist of the household
Juan can draw anywhere, anytime. Above, a new monochrome (llama verso, we offered him water and brushes to activate the color, he declined).
Here's one done with a couple of markers in each hand, working both hands simultaneously from the center portion of the page outward. Then he added embellishments.
This one is called "Church." He made it in the moments he was avoiding getting in the car to go to...church.
Juan was especially pleased with this drawing, done on top of last night's pizza box. Of the visible ridges from the corrugated cardboard, he declared to Rebecca, "it's coming out."
