motifs of the moment

What interests me most? The space between the panels.

Hey Jonathan--
this might be one of the ways I go for March...multi-panel, a little more emphasis on repetition.

I just scrolled down the page and my eyes got happy. What great colors. And I love all your stripe ideas. the blues at the top are summer yummy!

This image grabbed hold early and won't let go (and the original is currently on view at the Hirshhorn)...your blue tape variations on the wall make me think of wings, like this...

Hi Jonathan--
It's funny...books and wings...two associations I have with these images, too.

A few years back I submitted a public art proposal for a multi-panel frieze in a library. It had variations of images like these. Maybe I'll post the sketch of it. I thought it was a good proposal.

That Kiefer is kind of funny/poignant the way it looks like it can't really fly, nor can it's base hold it up much longer.
