just down the street

I'm taking a moment here to plug something I've been working hard on elsewhere in my life. I co-own a building a few doors down from my house. We rent a couple apartments there, and we have an espresso bar in the storefront. It's called The Green Line Cafe, named after the trolley lines that run through the neighborhood. (We also run another shop a few blocks away called The Other Green Line.)

We have an incredibly active and talented music scene in our neighborhood, and since the shops opened we've hosted live events. But just last week we unveiled a featured artist series, whereby we focus on selling the albums of 5-6 selected artists every two months.

I'm just blown away by the energy and talent of the musicians we're featuring, so I invite you to please check out the cafe's music page for a description of the albums and an audio stream. I'll be setting up a PayPal account so the CDs can be ordered on line.
