News--a video (part 1)

Recently artist and videographer Vincent Romaniello asked me to be part of his ongoing series of short documentaries on Philadelphia artists. He produces the videos and posts them for free viewing on the internet. The video will be divided into several parts. Part 1 is now available for viewing.

Follow this link to Vincent's site and you will see the link to my video in the lower right.
This part of the video focuses on my low-relief wall objects called "Fruitville." You can check out the individual works on my website. Also, there is footage of my neighborhood, my studio, and my trusty canine sidekick Mr. Chico Weaver. Plus, Vince used some of my music for the soundtrack.

dg, I'm lo-fi here and can't see the video, but it's SO great to see your studio in the picture. I've been reading here regularly and fomenting a reply to some of the art-oriented posts below. The blog is a really great way to see what you're up to; I can't remember if I gave you the link or not, but http://www.ojitos-in-mexico.com is where I've been blogging a lot, about the experience of moving here. I'll be leaving more detritus here soon, keep letting us know what goes on in Phila. I also loved seeing the pic of that place on the coast where we chatted, it's much as I imagined.
